The Anatomy of a Modern Web Writer by Copyblogger

I love Copyblogger. I love it for the many copy writing lessons and insights that it so generously cooks up and serves to us hungry web writers.

It’s like a pit stop for me– every time I stop by Copyblogger, there’s always a gem of a lesson waiting for me and I feel my “writing muscles” rejuvenated after every visit.

I’ve shared one of these gems before and on my last visit, Copyblogger offered a new one, an infographic which illustrates the basic anatomy of a modern web writer. I must confess I don’t fit this anatomy perfectly (for starters, I don’t can’t take caffeine), but hey, nobody’s perfect. I think though that this gives us writers more of an ideal to aspire to, and helps us to see the areas we need to work on.

If you’re looking to be a better writer, taking a moment to look over this “perfect anatomy” would probably be helpful. So here it is:

The rest of this post (and the many other resources on Copyblogger!) has plenty of other useful information too. If you’re determined to become a better writer I highly recommend you go and check it out. Let’s all make the web a better place by becoming the best writers we can be, and putting better quality content out there. 🙂
